Loving Yourself isn't vanity
It's Sanity
Loving yourself is the most powerful thing you will ever do for yourself. When you love yourself deeply from within, you are then able to love others better.

"When I first met Carolyn, I was in a dark season of life. Coaching with Carolyn not only helped me reach the surface into open air, but she also taught me how to thrive. The tools I learned back then, I still apply today as I pursue new endeavors. Carolyn has been such a Blessing to me.”
Nicole Wells, Singer Songwriter, Nashville, TN
“Working with Carolyn allowed me to see that life was much larger than the picture I had been given as a child. At that time my identity was being a young wife and mother. Carolyn helped me navigate a tough season of life with greater courage and strength. Because of her coaching, I even went on to finish my degree and graduate from college”.
Sherry Plumlee, Mary Kaye Consultant
“Carolyn helped me see that I had much more to bring to the world. She helped me uncover my desire to have more musical expression to give the world”.
Andrea Banfield
“As a single mother recovering from my second breast cancer diagnosis, I was feeling lost in myself and in life in general. I was in desperate need of support and direction. Carolyn provided both. She helped me find my own personal worth and value in myself. I recommend her highly”

“A few years ago, when I started coaching with Carolyn I was depressed. In just a few months, I quit my job, opened my own photography studio and enrolled in college. Carolyn helped me take my “someday” dream and made it a reality.”
Joey Mishler, photographer
“Carolyn has shown me compassion and grace while we have coached for almost 3 years. She’s supportive and patient. She helped me move from being a stuck, fearful, negative and an insecure woman, one who now lives with positivity, confidence and has new goals for her future. Even after coaching with Carolyn, I find that the skills I learned, still help me stay “in check” with my business and my own personal goals”.
Michelle Fister, Sr. Gold Plexus Ambassador for Plexus
“As a midlife woman navigating the challenges of becoming an empty nester, switching careers, and embarking on a new chapter in my marriage, I can't express enough gratitude for the invaluable guidance and support provided by Carolyn. Her insightful coaching was nothing short of transformative. Her guidance helped me rediscover my strengths, passions, and a renewed sense of self amidst the changing dynamics.I wholeheartedly recommend Carolyn to anyone seeking personal transformation and support during life's transitions”.
Dawn Fernandez
“I’ve been fortunate enough to have Carolyn’s help as a life coach through some truly vital seasons in my life over the past several years;. I had been going to therapy, meeting with my doctor/psychiatrist, hypnotherapy, additional classes, support groups, etc, but none of that helped me get out of the problematic clutter and hoarding tendencies I had felt crushed under. My apartment was at its all time worst when I first reached out to Carolyn, and she helped me get the biggest problem areas under control! This happened to be about 8 months before the pandemic hit, and the impetus for me feeling like I could manage more of the clutter on my own. Because of Carolyn’s guidance and expertise, I was able to work on my tangible stuff (along with my emotional clutter), and finally attack it in a way that had evaded me for decades. She has been a blessing in the darkest season of my life, helping me see, and more importantly, learning to cultivate light and hope for myself. I’ve since gone back to school and got a degree, in addition to many other positive pursuits that wouldn’t have happened without her help... I can’t thank Carolyn enough, and am honored to feel I can now call her a friend”.

Transformative and Unwavering with an uncanny ability to see the root of the issue. This is Carolyn. Working with Carolyn has been a life-altering experience. Over the past decade, Carolyn has helped me tackle some of the biggest challenges in my life. She has an unmatched level of dedication and is committed to my progress. Her approach is deeply personal, and incredibly supportive. She creates a safe space that allows you to confront and address issues head on. There’s just something about a coach with a spirit filled heart. Her guidance is one that still guides me to this day.

There are many variations of passages of Lorve suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour,Even when married and in church ministry, I longed for that “thing” that could be MY life’s work. I wanted something that felt like it was “mine”. I didn’t need another Title, I had many of those, but I wanted something that reflected who I am. It didn’t need to be a “job” but getting paid was a plus. I have always known that I have a gift of empathy, intuitiveness and compassion for women. Connecting with women has always been my passion.
One day I was sitting in the Dr’s office reading a magazine, and I read the words Life Coach. I didn’t even read anything else, I just KNEW this was calling my name. I then learned it was a new and upcoming profession, and it was for me and it was mine to keep. I signed up for Life Coaching School almost immediately. I don’t call it my job, it's just WHO I AM.
I am a credentialed Life Coach. I attended an accredited Life Coaching program through The Coaches Training Institute. It is now called The Coactive Training Institute. It is an intensive program that involves not only textbook learning, but also in person training in Chicago for the weekend. We met once a month for 6 months. It is a very rigorous program.
Training is needed, but to be truthful, I have found that the best Life Coaches are those that are naturally gifted with intuition, empathy towards others, good listening skills, one who is non judgemental, has had lots of life experiences, and one who is also open to being vulnerable themselves. I felt my 23 years in ministry made me a perfect candidate. I was Life Coaching for many years but I wasn’t paid for it or called a Life Coach. There is nothing that I feel fits me better for my life’s work.
Please refer to the What Is Coaching tab and you will find a detailed answer in that section.
There are many variables to this question. Ideally I would like to see my clients commit to once a week for a minimum of 3 months, especially at the beginning. I feel consistency at the beginning is important. But I also understand financial and time restraints, so this is certainly something we discuss at the beginning. I have women I’ve coached for 3 months and women I have coached for 3 years. (Many women like to continue for check-ins and accountability)
I am a Christian. My faith is very important to me. My faith is my sustenance. It is what gives me Life. But, my coaching is not about being a christian or not being a christian. I am accepting and loving to ALL women. I consider it an honor to coach every woman that decides she wants to grow.
Do not make me decide. I can’t have either for lots of reasons. Allergies, I”m gone too much, etc. It makes me sad but I’m a grown-up and so therefore I can’t cry (but I d0).
